Gianluca and Holly, the owners of Ristorante Michel’angelo, regularly visit the farm and production facility and the extra virgin olive oils are produced for Michel’angelo for cooking in both our restaurant kitchen and our cooking school. Now we want to share them beyond our kitchen and into yours.
|Medium Fruity Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The extra virgin olive fruttato medio, or medium fruitiness, originates from a careful selection of olives, harvested by hand directly from the tree and cold pressed within a few hours. The olive varieties used are Ogliarola, Peranzana,and Ravece. The flavour is a balance of bitter and spicy tones with a persistent aromatic component that makes it ideal for dressing any cooked dish including fish, roasts, pastas or vegetables.
|Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This extra virgin olive oil is obtained from a careful selection of olives exclusively from organic cultivations, harvested by hand directly from the tree and cold pressed within a few hours.The varieties used are Peranzana, Ortice, and Ravece. Its herbal olive fruitiness and harmonious bitter and spicy flavours make it suitable for finishing dishes that don’t require cooking including seafood, carpaccio, mozzarella and salads. The batches of oil produced are certified before bottling by the accreditor CCPB in Bologna.
|Lemon Flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil infused with lemons from Campania. Perfect for adding to your pasta dough for lemon based pastas such as Fettuccine al Limone, or to drizzle over salad, fish and vegetables.
|Basil Flavoured Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil infused with dried and chopped basil leaves. Perfect for drizzling over your Summer tomato and green salads, pizza, bruschetta, mozzarella and burrata, tomato based pasta sauces and adding to your basil pesto.
